Welcome to HBOIERC. We are constantly in the process of building our web page.  Please keep checking for updates as we monitor and add to the pages weekly.  The school has approximately 1200 students attending from grades N-12.  The school is divided into 3 wings, Early Years (N-4), Middle Years (5-8), and Senior Years (9-12).  The center or Core area of our school is where our office is located as well as the Music & Fiddle Rooms, Cafeteria, Home Ec., Cosmetology and the 2 libraries.  If you have an opportunity to visit please come in and take a tour.  You will not forget the experience.

logan.jpg

Logan Tait-Reaume is a Grade 11 student at Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre in Norway House. He was nominated for a Manitoba School Boards Student Citizenship Award and was selected as the recipient for Region 4, which includes Frontier School Division. As the recipient of this award, Logan was also one of six finalists for the Association of Manitoba Municipalities Young Community Leader Award.

Logan and his parents attended the Celebration of Success ceremonies on Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Winnipeg where he received the award at a gala event at the Delta Hotel. The award was presented by Education Minister Nancy Allen. This ceremony was well attended by various dignitaries and guests from across Manitoba. The award focused on the many talents and contributions made by Manitoba youth over the past year. It is truly an honor to have one of our students selected for this prestigious award.

Logan is a very dedicated and hard working student within our school and community. His leadership and citizenship qualities serve as a positive example for the youth of Norway House. Congratulations, Logan Tait-Reaume!!
